Icings

 Buttercream (sweet creamy and traditional) – vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mocha, caramel and more!Buttercream (also known as butter cream, butter icing or mock cream) is a type of icing or filling, used inside cakes, as a coating, and as a decoration. Buttercream is made by combining butter, shortening, sugar, milk and flavorings.  We use only the freshest ingredients in our buttercream to create a unique, delicious flavor. It’s a little bite of heaven.

Swiss Meringue Buttercream (smooth and light) – vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, mocha, caramel and more!A beautiful version of buttercream that is made with cooked egg whites whipped with sugar (meringue), high quality butter and flavorings.  It is smooth shiny and mouth melting deliciousness.  This is our favorite icing!

Chocolate Ganache (rich and satisfying) – white, milk and dark chocolate.Rich chocolate frosting made from high quality French chocolate and cream whipped to a creamy smooth spreadable icing.  The decadent and indulgent taste and texture will send you over the edge.

Fondant (perfectly smooth) – is very smooth and malleable icing that is rolled to a uniform thickness and then laid over the cake. It can also be used for detail work such as making intricate flowers and bows. When possible, stay away from prepackaged fondant that may look great but may not taste as good as expected. That’s because most fondant purchased in local craft stores are made with ingredients to sustain a long shelf life. Fondant that covers most professionally baked cakes are made with sugar, water, glucose and other flavorings such as vanilla. This type of fondant is not only better to work with, but has a much better taste and texture. Whether going for fun and creative to simply elegant, a good fondant will make any cake stand out from the crowd.
